Addicted to CAS #89

Hi again buddies I'm back and this time it's with the latest challenge for

Addicted to CAS
Our talented teamie Valentyna has chosen the codeword 'Petals' for this one

I've gone with my all time favourite go-to floral stamp set which is
the Gerbera set from Uniko and it's coloured with Zig Clear Brush pens
having embossed it in WOW metallic brass sparkle first. The sentiment is from
the same set by Uniko and to finish a couple of sequins for that bit o' bling!

Our talented guest designer for this challenge is the winner of our 'Plaid'
challenge and it's Julie Beech of Handcrafted By Jules I'm sure she'd love a
friendly visit and some encouragement so please pop across to her blog.

There's more petal magic inspiration from my fellow teamies over on
the Addicted to CAS blog HERE and our sponsor for this challenge is

Our lucky winner will receive 3 digital images from the store.

I'd like to pop this in at another couple of challenges too:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog

and Time Out challenges - Inspired By Words
'May all your weeds be wild flowers'

Grab Our Badge!

Once again there's no way these flowers are weeds or wild but I so wish
they were what the weeks in my garden look like!

Thanks as always for calling by today and I hope you feel
inspired to join us for this one.

Less is More #278

Good morning friendly crafters - have you got that weekend feeling?
In the UK we've got an added bonus as it's a Bank Holiday Monday too!
Oh and half term for me so the whole week off!

So onto our Less is More challenge for this week and it's a Sketch
Please remember to keep it clean and simple with clean 'white' space!
You can flip-it, rotate-it and add a different shape instead of the heart. Have FUN!

Here's mine followed by the sketch and there's some awesome ideas from my fellow
teamies over on the main blog HERE just in case you haven't visited already!

Can you tell I was in crazy-mode when I made this one!
I'm not sure whether I've pulled it off and it's a little less CAS than I
would have liked but I decided to use some bits of stash that keep getting
forgotten so here's what I've used:

Stamps: Paper Smooches - Chubby Chums & Sunny side Up
Avery Elle - Sentimental 'Your Day'
Doodlebug - Design Paper
'Enjoy' die cut - sent to me by the lovely Barb of Barbs Studio Creations
She's so generous and sent me a whole bundle of dies by Papertrey.
Images and die-cut coloured with Zig Clear Brush Pens

Here's the sketch we'd like you to follow:

Over at Simon Says Stamp - Wednesday Challenge it's an Anything Goes week
so I'm heading across there with this card too

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog

Next up a more clean and simple version

This one uses the stunning Altenew - Vintage Flowers set which I've
stamped using the yellow and green ink sets by Altenew and to divide
my panel in line with the sketch I've added a strip of gold glitter tape.

The sentiment if from a brand new set sent to me by my perfect, fun
and generous fellow Less is More teamie Anita! Can you believe she won
a whole bundle of Altenew sets and already had this Painted Greetings set
so she sent the duplicate to me! I'm welling up here - thanks so much Neets!

I'd like to link this up at Timeout Challenges where it's an 'inspired by words'

'May all your weeds be wild flowers'

Now I can hardly say these blooms look like weeds or wild flowers but
can you imagine if all weeds in my garden looked like this? That would save
a lot of weeding and digging time - that's for sure!

Ok that's all from me but I hope you feel inspired to play along and
I'll catch up with you all again soon.

Less is More #277

Hello friends - have you got that Saturday feeling?
I hope so as I'm here to announce the latest challenge details at

Less is More

and we are back round to our theme week and we're looking for
Something that Pops or Bangs

As always my Teamies have worked their magic with this one so there's
loads of inspiration over on the main blog if you haven't checked it already
and here's what I've got for you ...

I was in a silly mood when I put this together and had this image of an old car
chugging and popping with a bang here and there as it's 'driven' down a
hill to get the engine working! I hope my collection of images depicts this...
I've used a computer generated sentiment which I hardly ever do these days and
stamped images from Paper Smooches: Metropolis and Sunny Side Up.
The single car is coloured with Promarkers and as Uniko are sponsoring Passion
for Promarkers challenge this week I thought I'd show some support and play along.

It's also their 7th Anniversary so lots of prizes and a huge congrats to the team!

Feel free to pinch me :)

Next up using more traditional objects ....

This time a background of tone on tone balloons from a New Clearly Besotted
set: Let's Party and also from CBS: Bon Voyage and Set the Scene for the fireworks.
The sentiment is from Uniko: Simply Said and I'd like to link this one up
at TimeOut Challenges for Sandie's special birthday - a second entry and this
time sharing the purple twist too!

Last but not least ... my daughter said 'bubbles pop'

So using the Paper Smooches Briny Blue set and the 'Have A ... Day'
sentiment from Uniko: Celebrate with Cake I've created an underwater scene!
No I didn't do this one by mistake for last week using more than one layer!!!
It's hot off the craft table this week!

Ok that's all for me today and thanks for calling by.
I'll be back tomorrow morning with an extra special birthday bonanza
challenge post for AAA Cards so hope you'll join me as there's
a blog hop, treasure hunt and loads of prizes up for grabs!

Uniko Challenge #32

Hello friends!

It's time to announce this month's challenge over at Uniko and we are looking for
Masculine cards with the option of Father's Day!

Here I've used Background Builders Lattice and the Strike a Pose set
I love how the sentiments are on a film reel and I don't know why I
don't use this set more often as it's got such fun and versatile stamps.

I hope you feel inspired to play along and there's more inspiration from
my fellow teamies on the main Uniko blog HERE plus you'll find
all the details of prizes and what you have to do to win them!

We've also got a fantastic guest designer who won our challenge
last month and that's Tanya of Little Art Cottage I hope you'll pop
across to her blog to leave some friendly words of encouragement.

As always thanks for calling by my blog, have fun and I'll be
back tomorrow with details of the latest challenge from Less is More.

Happy Birthday Sandie!

Morning friends and it's another birthday post!
This one's for another special blog buddy who is celebrating a BIG one this year!
I'm sure you'll all know Sandie of London Days but if not head across to her blog
as you are missing of treat of CAS delights!

In honour of Sandie's special day, Kylie of Happy Little Stampers
Kylie is Addicted to Stamps, Addicted to CAS and Addicted to Stamps & More
has kindly agreed to host a linky party for 2 weeks to give us all chance to
make a card for Sandie and link up to the party. I hope you'll join us

HERE

To be honest Kylie has been so busy moving house that I wasn't sure she'd
get round to hosting the party plus my idea for Sandie's card coincided with the
theme at this week's Addicted to CAS challenge so my 'actual' card for her can
be found HERE but just for good measure I thought I'd make another one
using bright, breezy and cheery colours to celebrate the occasion!

This one uses the Sunburst set from Clearly Besotted using
Ranger Dye Inks and a white embossed sentiment from Uniko.

Congratulations Sandie, have a fabulous birthday and here's wishing
you many happy returns and a wonderful 50th year.

Thanks so much for calling by and enjoy the party!

Feel Free to Grab My Badge for Your Blog!

There's plenty more stunning inspiration over on the ATCAS blog HERE

please head over and check out her talent plus leave her a little love!

Thanks as always for calling by and I do hope you'll feel inspired to play along!

Have Fun!

Before I skip off for the day there's another birthday girl in blogland who
will be partying on Monday - Sandie of London Days and as she's a London lass
and a 'purple' addict I couldn't resist making this card for her so it'll be winging
it's way to her as we speak! Have a FAN-TAS-TIC day Sandie and HUGE
birthday wishes. Hope it's a celebration to remember!
Sarah

Happy Birthday Bev!

Hey I'm back again ... this time with a birthday post!
It's a busy month for those birthdays but so much fun too.

Today Bev (AKA Uniko) will be celebrating her special day and having met
her last week my suspicions were confirmed ... Not only is she a craft
genius but she's fun, sweet, adorable and so generous too! It was an
honour to help her out at the Happy Stampers Festival in Port Sunlight
and I'm so thrilled and excited that it was such a success!

So here's wishing you another happy and exciting Saturday Bev!
Happy Birthday and hope you have another wonderful day!

... being Bev it HAD to be Uniko and I've used inspiration from the
latest challenge over at Timeout for this one where they are CASing
Kay Miller's card below. I couldn't resist using a brand new die from
Lawn Fawn that I bought last week teamed with Uniko sets:
Pure Florals: Cosmos
Natures Treasures II
Celebrate with Cake (sentiments)

Kay's card ...

I'd also like to play along at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday with this one
as their theme is 'Flowers' so why not add these gorgeous Cosmos blooms!

Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog

I'll be back very soon with the latest challenge details for Addicted to CAS
but in the meantime thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope you'll visit
Bev HERE and wish her a Happy Birthday too!

Less is More #276

Good morning crafty pals and are you wide awake and ready for a new challenge
from Less is More? It's that 'dreaded' one (can I hear you groan?) YEP! you guessed.

One Layer Card Week with the theme 'At Sea'

As always my teamies have worked their socks off to produce some A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
examples so please head across to their blogs for more inspiration!

Here's mine

There's a fair amount of masking with this one with both the images,
rectangle 'frame' and the light beam too. The stamps are all from
Lawn Fawn Life is Good and I've used Distress inks and Zig Clear
Brush pens to colour the images.

This one uses
Stamps:
Lawn Fawn - So Jelly (coloured with Zigs) & Mama Elephant - Make a Wish
Stencil by My Favourite Things - Basic Scallops
Distress inks: Chipped Sapphire, Mermaid Lagoon & Salty Ocean

Ok it's over to you clever folks and I can't wait to see how you interpret this one!
Have fun and thanks for calling by. Catch up with you soon but a
busy day for me with the parents today so not much crafting sadly!

I will be back soon with a couple more 'scheduled' posts though -
providing Mr Blogger is playing ball this morning!

Uniko - A revisit Trio!

Hi there friends I'm here with a revisit post for Uniko with a little difference!
It's not one set we are revisiting this month ... but three!
There's still the traditional blog hop with the chance of winning not 1 ...
but all 3 of the featured sets! Whoa!

Can't say fairer than that so read on for the set details and my cards using them!

The sets:
Flower Power #3
Natural Treasures II
All Occasion Sentiments #6

I'm not showcasing my usual CAS style here but when there's 3 sets to
use it takes a little more than 'white' space. I started out by heat embossing the
outline blooms from FP #3 in Ranger Silver Pearl EP then coloured with Distress inks.
I've used the Natural Treasures II for the BG and adhered the blooms using 3d foam.
To finish a sentiment combo from All Occasion Sentiments #6 and some
sequins from Doodlebug and Pretty Pink Posh with design paper from Echo Park.

This one just uses the bloom outline and some hearts from the Flower Power set.
Heat embossed again with the same EP and blended with distress inks in
Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries. To add some dimension I've
die-cut a heart frame from WPlus9 along with the 'love' word from Lawn Fawn;
both of these are mounted on 3d foam and to finish some more PP sequins!

Here's the images of the sets

... and for details on how to claim your prize and where to start the
hope please head across to the main Uniko Blog HERE with all the
links and details you need. Have fun and get hopping!

finish some Doodlebug sprinkles to coordinate.
